Common questions
- Does QuizYou cost anything?
- No. Eleven games and six categories are free, in the browser and in the app. Seven more categories can be bought singly or as a bundle — you can play without them for as long as you like.
- Do I need an account?
- Not to play. An account only matters if you want to carry your progress to a second device or appear on the leaderboard.
- Can I play someone who has the app on their phone?
- Yes. Browser, iPhone and Android all meet in the same duel. One of you creates a game and shares the code or link, the other joins — whatever device they are on.
- Can I play on my own?
- Yes. Nine of the eleven games run against an AI at three strengths. The other two — “Do You Know Me?” and “Which of Us?” — need a real opponent, because they are about the two of you.
- Do I have to install anything?
- No. The web version starts straight away in your browser. For iPhone and Android the app is also on the App Store and Google Play.
